About the film

~ For the men and woman who have dedicated their lives to protecting our WILD ~

 

This short film was a finalist selection for the National Geographic Wild “Wild to Inspire” film competition. It is dedicated to the men and woman who have dedicated their lives to protecting our WILD.

 

Behind The Story:

 

During a media trip to Uganda freelance cinematographer and conservationist, Marlina Moreno, met some of the men and woman behind the country’s wildlife conservation efforts. This short-film highlights some of those individuals that touched her heart and inspired her to continue making media under the Project:Conservation mission.

 

The film features Wild Heroes from both Uganda Wildlife Education Center and Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
